BioMy name is Constable Benton Fraser, Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I first came to Chicago on the trail of the killers of my father and for reasons that do not need exploring at this juncture, I have remained attached as liaison with the Canadian Consulate, and over the course of my time here I have formed a partnership with one Raymond Vecchio, detective first grade, Chicago Police Department.
Accompanying me on my adventures is a deaf half-wolf named Diefenbaker. He has proven himself a reliable companion and good friend, if rather lax in his eating habits. Also the above mentioned dead father has occasionally appeared to offer advice, which tends towards being more him reminiscing about his life then of much practical value, but it is nice of him to have taken more of an active interest in my life after his death then he did before it.
During my third year as liaison there was an unexpected switch in my partners. Official I was still paired with Ray Vecchio, although Ray was no longer in Chicago. The new Ray Vecchio was very different from the old, as I believe I proved during the course of our first day together by taking involuntary fingerprints, impromptu nose measuring, and a plaster sandwich. Not one of my more subtle information gathering techniques, but considering Ray Kowalski, otherwise known as Vecchio, was highly distracted by a performing arsonist and driving his burning car into the Lake they call Michigan he did not have time for many questions.
As I was given strict instructions not to tell any Inuit stories, I will cut my remarks off here, saying only that if you ever find yourself with a Trapper named Tim be sure not to mention elephant seals. I do believe he is still rather sensitive about the incident.
